Colonel Miklosy, part 7 – Iron Cross for service on the eastern front

As I described in part 6 Colonel Miklosy spent one year on the eastern front. From the Germans he received the Iron Cross second class for his services as part of the German offensive. From the Hungarians he received the officer of the Hungarian Merit Cross (of which he already was a knight) with laurels and swords. One of the only 262 that were awarded during the war!
